Our Purpose
Having been led by the Holy Spirit of God to place our complete trust in Christ for our salvation and, on the profession of our faith, we, baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, obediently, freely, and cheerfully band together in harmony as a body of believers to worship God and agree and submit to the following:
EVANGELIZE
Glorifying God through the proclamation to the world of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way of salvation (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15).
PREACH AND TEACH
Glorifying God by placing ourselves under the care and discipline of the Word of God, as exercised by the local assembly, to encourage spiritual growth and harmony within the body. This perfecting of the saints may be accomplished through the preaching and teaching of the whole council of God as revealed in the uniquely-inspired, infallible, and authoritative Holy Scriptures (Ephesians 4:11-12; Hebrews 13:17).
WORSHIP
Glorifying God with acts of praise and adoration at corporately-gathered events and in the way we conduct our everyday lives (Psalm 34:3; 1 Peter 2:5).
OBSERVE ORDINANCES
Glorifying God by the administration of the New Testament ordinances; Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (1 Cor. 11:2b; Matthew 28:19; 1 Cor. 11:23-25).
CARE FOR OTHERS
Glorifying God by exercising charitable care for the brethren and the needy, giving special attention to missions (evangelism of the world; Matthew 20:28).
